Hi all, I just installed the 90-day trial of Windows 7 Enterprise on one of my older computers that has 1.2GB RAM, 1.7GHz Intel Pentium 4, 80GB HDD, and a Nvidia GeForce FX 5500 graphics card with 256MB dedicated video memory. Everything is running good, and everything works, including the sound and internet(I didn't need to install drivers for sound and internet). But I cannot find a proper driver for my Nvidia graphics card. I have searched on the Nvidia site, and only found a Vista 32-bit driver. My computer is a HP Compaq Presario 5000, and I looked on the HP drivers website, and they only had XP drivers. The graphics card can go to its full resolution (1280 x 1024) but I cannot turn on Aero. What confuses me is Win7 Upgrade Advisor said that the card was compatible with Aero, yet I cannot get it to work. Does anybody know of a proper driver for Windows 7 32-bit? Thanks, help is greatly appreciated! I have a Nvidia Geforce Fx 5500 Graphics Card and by Default windows 7 installed ' Standard VGA Graphics Adapter ' Now i tried uninstalling it and it says to reboot but when i reboot it automatically installs the same vga graphics adapter. I installed the drivers and software from nvidia but the standard vga graphics adapter over rides it.
